Ibn Tulun
According to the Muslim Heritage the Ibn is one of the oldest mosque in Egypt. The architecture is very intricate and complex compared to other architectures. This mosque is like other traditional mosques but has many new structures and ideas for this mosque.
Hagia Sophia
According to the Procopius by De Aedificiis the Hagia Sophia was a magnificent building to see. Many people from different countries around Europe were brought to build this large church by Justinian the ruler at the time. They say that the beauty of this church never fails to amaze people. the church was used for Eastern Orthodox religion worshiping.

The architecture difference in the Byzantine churches and
the Islamic mosques. The Ibn Tulun mosque and the Hagia Sophia have many
differences between their own set of architecture. Each of the religious
buildings were used for different religions such as ; the Ibn Tulun mosque is
used for the Islam religion and the Hagia Sophia was used for the Eastern Orthodox
religion. Some of the differences between the Byzantium and the Islamic
architecture in the religious buildings were the domes, structures/artwork, and
the arches inside the buildings.

There are some major and less major differences between the byzantine
architecture and the Islamic architecture. Even though they had architectural
difference it does not side the fact that the building were built for a
religious worship.
